Together we rise!

That’s the theme of this year’s Women in Construction Week, and it’s one we fully endorse.

Together we Rise celebrates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play inshaping the future of the construction industry.y.

Here at MCS Group we have a total of 62 staff – 14 are women and the rest of our team are men.

The aim of this week is to celebrate and promote the role of women in our industry. By doing so, we hope to inspire more and more women to pursue careers in this dynamic field.

The week highlights the challenges women may face in this typically male dominated environment. It’s an industry which has long struggled with gender imbalance but the good news is it is now slowly improving.

The event is also crucial in helping construction companies diversify their workforce, for women in both construction roles and leadership roles.
