South East Wins for MCS Group

MCS Group have negotiated contracts to complete two multi-million-pound industrial developments in the South East.

Longstanding client Arcus-PCD has appointed MCS Group for the construction of units totaling 107,000 sq. ft. at Bolney in Mid Sussex, funded by Abrdn.

In Crawley, the company will build an 85,000 sq. ft. logistics hub, funded by Russbritt, near Gatwick Airport at the Manor Royal major employment hub.

Keir Edmonds, group managing director at MCS Group, said: “As we begin 2022 and, like other contractors, face up to the twin challenges of shortages of talent and materials, we are building on longstanding relationships and strategically targeting workload through negotiated contracts.

“In the current climate early collaboration is vital and we believe negotiated contracts work better for both MCS Group and our clients as it allows us to mitigate risk for both parties.”
