Sara Rutherford

Group Financial Director

Member of the ICAEW having trained with KPMG in Birmingham and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993. Post qualification continued to work for KPMG within their general audit department as assistance departmental manager before moving to the finance department HO of TSB for a couple of years. Left to have a family and started working for an accountancy practice 2 years later; Burrows Scarborough in Earlsdon Coventry – starting off part time and leaving in Jan 2011 having reached Director level.

In Feb 2011 moved back into business when joined mcs to take up the newly created role of FD with responsibility for the group financial and accounting functions. Since joining mcs has successfully lead the dedicated, compact finance team during a period which has seen unprecedented growth in the group.
