Sara Rutherford

Group Financial Director

A member of the ICAEW; having trained with KPMG in Birmingham and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993, Sara’s Post qualification employment continued with KPMG within their general audit department as Assistance Departmental Manager, before moving to the finance department of TSB for a couple of years. Sara then left this role to have a family and started working for an accountancy practice 2 years later; Burrows Scarborough based in Coventry – starting off part time and leaving in January 2011 having reached Director level.

In February 2011, Sara moved back into business when she joined MCS to take up the newly created role of Financial Director with responsibility for the group finance and accounting functions. Since joining MCS, Sara has successfully lead the dedicated, compact accounts team during a period which has seen unprecedented growth within the group.

Sara enjoys being part of the ambitious MCS management team which strives to grow the business whilst retaining an inclusive team spirit with both employees and clients.
