New Announcement

Excited to announce that we have started construction of a speculative industrial warehouse at a landmark regeneration and employment scheme in Filton, north Bristol.

Unit G5, a 115,600 sq. ft. unit at Horizon 38, is being developed by St Francis Group and ALMCOR, with Avison Young │UK and JLL appointed to market the space.

It is the largest new build logistics unit available in the area at a time when there is considered to be “unprecedented demand” for grade A logistics and distribution space.

James Short at Avison Young said: “Unit G5 will be a continuation of the high quality, sustainably built, speculative units developed at Horizon 38, sitting alongside prestigious occupiers such as The Delivery Group and Elemis.

“Horizon 38 is a real reflection of how forward-thinking development from St Francis Group and ALMCOR has met today’s ever strengthening demand for high quality units, and their commitment to sustainable delivery to meet their own, and the Government’s Net Zero ambitions.”
Henry de Teissier at JLL added: “Unit G5 is the culmination of the widely successful Horizon 38 business park.

“Over the last five years, we have seen numerous businesses from a wide variety of sectors make Horizon 38 their Bristol home. The park’s strategic location, unrivalled public transport connectivity and accessibility to the labour market, has made it the prime commercial destination in north Bristol.”

Gareth Williams, director at St Francis Group, said: “Having made the decision to aspire to a very high level of sustainability on all our new units, Horizon 38 is another example of a BREEAM excellent standard of specification.”

Horizon 38 is a flagship employment scheme being developed on the site of the former Rolls Royce East Works alongside the A38. The building, which will be ready for occupation in April 2023, is being constructed by MCS Group.
