James Currie

Joint Managing Director

James is responsible for the successful delivery of all projects across the Group, from commencement to completion. He also works closely with new and key repeat clients to ensure a good working relationship is built and maintained. James’ focus is on implementing, maintaining, and improving the high standards of delivery that MCS have built our reputation on.

James joined mcs in 2005 and has worked in all sectors of the Company in various management positions,  gaining the role of Group Construction Director in September 2018 and now Joint Managing Director since May 2025. Working alongside Rob Townsend, their motivation is to simplify the building process for clients and deliver excellence.

Outside of work, James is a keen golfer and enjoys country walks with his dogs (and occasionally the Wife and kids!)  When not in the great outdoors, James also plays in a band that gigs regularly around his home town of Northampton, rocking the locals to the sound of 90’s and 00’s indie.
